2001 Toyota Tundra Starts Then Dies

2001 toyota tundra starts then dies. It died on me last week. Sometimes it may take 20 attempts to get the truck to stay running but once it stays on it is perfectly fine except for occasionally. I put more gas in it.
The contact stated while driving 30 mph the vehicle began to respond very violently and then it stalled. I was driving home from work yesterday when about 40 minutes into my ride my truck shut off and now it only starts for a few seconds and immediately stalls when I touch the accelerator. The customer complaint is that the engine intermittently stalls or di.
So I have a 2001 Tundra 47L. Starts revs then sputtershesitates like its trying to stay on and then just about dies dash lights even come on like it dies but then revs ON ITS OWN to 1500 RPM. 2 After waiting about a minute I tried starting it and it would not start at all although the engine was turning over normally.
Heres what happens. The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Tundra. Your Tundra stalls because the faulty switch turns off the fuel pump or power to the ignition.
The truck has been running great no problems at all. I brought it to the Toyota dealership and they said they didnt exactly know what was wrong. Acted like it was out of fuel gauge said 14 tank but i thought it stuck or something.
When it happened the last time I noticed my battery terminals looked a little corroded so I cleaned them really good and so far so good. Holy crap what an ordeal. Now starts and doesnt overheat now.
