2000 Toyota Tundra Timing Belt Marks
Now lets look at setting up the new timing belt.

The new OEM Toyota timing belt will come with its own marks on it. The crank has to be on TDC on compression stroke. As you apply the belt w the tentioner off the cam marks will move out a hair no longer be ligned up with the marks on the timimg cover backing plate.
I installed the new belt as per all the directions specs but once installed it is on all the alignment marks but is now just off the 2 marks of each of the cams after I strecthed the belt it all alignged except now the gear belt marks do not align w marks on heads. I changed the following MAF. The crank has to be on TDC on compression stroke.
