2000 Toyota Tundra Runs Very Rough

I have a 2000 Tundra low miles 55K and Im the original owner.

2000 toyota tundra runs very rough. My 2000 Toyota Tundra with a 47L V8. 2000 toyota tundra V8 began running rough during my last trip. Press the gas pedal all the way to the floor slowly and steadily - take about 3 seconds to get to the floor.

The car runs well untill it heats up. Remember a vehicle needs air fuel and spark to run. Check the cap for any cracks in the rubber o-ring on the underside.

The rpms at idle gets to be as low as about 200 rmps. Two years ago my 2002 47 V-8 started running very rough and the check engine light started blinking. The problem is driving on something like the interstate where the road surface is concrete.

The toyota service department has performed the 60k mile service which includes plugs fuel injector cleaning and throttle body inspection. Slowly and steadily release the gas pedal back up - again about 3 seconds. Hi Mitch I just had a very similar problem with my 27L 2000.

2000 Tacoma SR5 27L 4WD. It idles rough and runs rough. This only happens occasionally though but it only idles rough when at 500RPM.

One was wet with gas cyl 1 but the rest were nice and dry very light tan centers. Here are some of the issues that cause the Tundra to stall out. It rides fine when the road surface is asphalt.
